Wedding mypublisher.com

Hi ladies,

I ordered an album from mypublisher.com for our engagement pictures and I just wanted to share with you guys that I am VERY impressed.... it seriously looks professional and like it cost 500$ (it only cost 80$!!!). ANNNND from the time I ordered until the time I received it - it was 3 days!!! SOooooooo fast.... Anyway - I have also tried blurb.com in the past and I have to say, mypublisher is infinitely better.... I highly recommend it!!!

PS: I used the wedding album template... It was super quick and easy to use too...

I keep hearing great things about mypublisher.com, but I can't figure out how to convert my JPEGs into other formats.

D and I started using mypublisher this weekend to finally build our album for our first anniversary and didn't get very far because we got so frustrated trying to convert. I'm now using blurb.com to construct the album, but still wish I could use mypublisher.

I'm glad you had such a great experience! If I weren't so technologically challenged, I'd be happy to use them, too!

hmmm that's strange... My pictures were given to me from the photographer and were on CD. They were JPEG and high resolution.... I downloaded a program from mypublisher and litterally just took the jpegs and dragged them into the template... It took me no more than 15 minutes to complete the album... I was using my MAC.... I wonder why you need to convert the JPEGS??? Did you download the program from their website? Honeslty, I would try to use mypublisher... I ordered an ablum from blurb and it wasn't as nice... Let me know if you want/need advice on how to use the program to make it easier for you.

Oops, I have it backwards. They will upload JPEGs, just not JPGs. We got our high-res photos on a disc from our photographer and they are all JPG files and MyPublisher doesn''t recognize JPGs, they have to be JPEGs, so we''re stuck. I have no clue how to convert them because we can''t save them as anything else...

I just ordered an album from MyPublisher yesterday. They most certainly will take JPG files, as i uploaded about 500 of them. No need to "convert" anything

If you are having an issue, I'd suggest updating the latest build if necessary. if you really can't get the file extenison to upload a jpg, just change the file extension to .jpeg

Are you on a PC? Make sure the version is up-to-date...

I just figured I''d add my two cents in case anyone is looking for a different opinion.

I actually wasn''t all that impressed with mypublisher.
I thought it was very easy and sort of fun to put the album together. But even after using their auto-adjust on each individual picture and making sure it was the right size (they make this fool-proof), I was VERY disappointed with the coloring in some of the photos.

We were married in Jamaica....blue skies, tan sand, ect. The sky looked grey in almost every pic. But the most obvious color distortion was in a picture of just our hands in which we were showing off our rings. Our hands looked bright orange. It bothered me.

I''ve read a lot of reviews of people who use mypublisher, and that sounds not normal. You should try contacting them and see if they will resend you another book (I''ve heard of them being great with dealing with issues). Give it a try! Can''t hurt!

That''s so sad! I would also ask them for another one.... The color in our pictures came out beautifully! Very bright and crisp... I didn''t use their auto-adjust though... Our photographer gave us photos that were already touched up and adjusted...

Use their wedding template... I also got the leather cover version with picture cut out for the cover---- loveeee it.

Mine just came in today... Looks amazing... I inserted one picture that I took with a normal, small digital camera and it looks OK... the ones that I took with my Nikon D60, look incredible. So the camera definitely makes a difference

no, the vacation template... I did it for the honeymoon photos... The wedding album we will have done as a traditional album. I dont mind this style for a honeymoon album--its fun, but its not formal enough imo for a wedding album

our 2nd wedding anniversary was yesterday, and i still have yet to get to this project! i had every intention of doing it right after we received our pro pics, and even downloaded the mypublisher software- it was version 1.0 at the time. they''re now on version 3.0

glad to hear positive feedback. it''s nice to know that your albums came out great. i''ll have to get cracking on mine soon- i''m such a slacker.

Ya you are probably right... We used it for out engagement pictures but used the wedding template since it was so pretty!
