My trip to NYC!!!

where do you live? did you have to come far?

I would love to meet you, Whitby! I live in NC, so it is not a long flight. I would love to come again! We had talked about having a big get-together in NYC at some point, but I have been too busy to be one of the planners. I had such a good time and realized how easy it really is to get around, so I definitely want to come again!

perfect! if nobody does it before then (and even if they do) i''m going to organize something towards the end of the year. atroop and i are getting together when i get back in the fall, so perhaps she and i can throw together some details then. a Christmas get-together would be so much fun - and then we could all do some shopping, too!

Thank you! My girls are a lot of fun and we do enjoy doing things together!

Lol! I am afraid I have ruined my reputation as a jewelry lover by not buying anything on the trip! Maybe if I start working on a project now, I could decide on something by December!

Aww, thanks, S! I had only been through the airport previously, so I was loooong past due making the trip! I really loved it, which surprised me because Charlotte intimidates me somewhat because it is not nearly as well laid out as NYC!!!

DS, sounds like you had a wonderful time. Isn''t Wicked just the best show? My hubby does not enjoy musicals at all but loved Wicked and wants to see it again. It''s touring here in sept. and we are going to go. I''m so glad you got to meet up with Harriet too. It''s always fun meeting up with other PS''er in real life. Now that I''m home we''ll have to plan our own half way GTG at some point too.

I LOVED Wicked! I didn't know what to expect beforehand, but now I'd go see it again! If it comes to Charlotte, I'll definitely take my hubby, too! And we definitely need to GTG! ...either halfway or in NYC!!!

i'll be sure to remember you, come december. i'm visualizing a trip to NY for a PS ladies lunch, followed by a little Christmas shopping. i'll talk all this through with atroop and see how she's placed, but will post ideas on the boards later in the year with plenty of notice so people can work it into their plans. would love to have you!

Glad you enjoyed NYC DS! I went there in high school and really enjoyed it. Pretty different from around here though in NC though, huh? We also went to Lake Placid and got to see all the Olympic stuff and go skiing/snowboarding (on the "ice", hehe).

Your daughters are beautiful, btw! I remember you mentioning your daughter and her great BF a while back - good to know they''re going strong!

Thanks for the compliment about my girls, luv.t.s.! Yes, NYC is vastly different that NC, that''s for sure! Of course, our cost of living is lower here, so it is easier to live here and visit there! That was neat that you went to Lake Placid, too!
