My new favorite "word"- thank you, PS!

But no thanks from my SO whom I annoy to no end with this!

I've decided (yes, it's temporary, yes, SO is right, it will never catch on, but it amuses me and annoys him, so that's enough) to use "kwim?" as a word.

I pronounce it, "Kawhim?"

Whenever I want to ask SO if he heard, understood, or agreed with me, I finish my sentence by saying, "Kawhim?"

He gets so mad!

He says, "Please stop saying that!"

I will dear as soon as it stops amusing me.

LOL Danny- I do it too! I started using KWIM and certain other acronyms in my speech with my dh -not other people because I don't care for abbrevations/texting terms etc in my daily conversations with people in general because it makes me feel lazy. It makes him laugh usually but other times it can annoy him (for example if we are having an argument) and I do it on purpose at those times. Not very nice but hey, I'm only human. The word that annoys him the most (not an abbreviation though) is whatever. Of course, that is a dismissive and rude word and probably shouldn't be used.

My Dad has started using text abbreviations in his daily speech, and it just cracks me up. I've heard several, including OMG, and I'm not sure if this is one of his own creation (since I haven't really seen/heard it anywhere else) BFD, as in, big f'ing deal. It just makes me laugh, because he's completely tech-inept, and pretty much a geeky hunter type.
