disclaimer: these are drafts

FI's sister's FF designed the invite then i did the other cards in photoshop. there are still some general edits to do (we're going to capitalize our names on the invite, change the spacing a bit on it, and mess with the wording on the reception card) but overall i think i'm happy with the design. my dad was concerned that they weren't formal or weddingy enough, but i think it's just a generational thing.

thoughts, concerns?
eta: i just realized that i blocked totally random parts of the stationary out for id'ing info and left it on on others...oops!

eek. also ETA: the border on the invite is white/red like it is on the reception card... i have no idea why it's filled in black like that!)

I like the recurring snowflake emphasizing your winter wedding.

I can''t tell that on the reception card it is red and white. won''t that make it too busy and overall a very Christmas theme? anyway, hard to tell if I can''t see.

oooh... what is an "adult reception"

I don''t know if this a commonly used term but I''ve never heard it before and makes me think naughty things are going to happen... not sure if that''s the idea you want to bring across or just that people should leave kids at home.

haha! ''adult reception'' was suggested to us so that we don''t have to outright tell our family friends to leave their little ones at home.

the red we''re using is SUPER dark maroon - there''s actually no black in any of the stationary. i thought that it might look a little more sleek with having black instead of both red and green, but i think the red is dark enough and, well, i was overruled

. do you think it is overkill? we wanted something a little different (don''t we all

) and our wedding is a couple days before christmas. hmmm now i''m second guessing it all....
