Wedding My Engagement Party!

My engagement party begins in just a few hours! I am so excited. My maid of honor, two bridesmaids, and another friend are throwing it for me in our new city (we all moved here after law school). It''s going to be a very informal affair, just lots of booze and delicious snacks for our friends.

Thanks, Skippy, mimzy, mommy2iz, SarahLovesJS, bee*, and honey! The party turned out even better than I had expected. My friends did such a wonderful job hosting--my maid of honor made some TDF desserts, there was plenty of beer for FI and his friends

, and we drank quite a bit of Veuve Clicquot

. My friends and I all dressed in "Parisian chic," which was a lot of fun.

It was supposed to be just an evening cocktail party, but we didn''t get home until 3 AM. Yay!
