Wedding My dress is here! I can''t believe it!

I ordered it online last week - they said the delivery was Feburary 15th and it shows up YESTERDAY!
Fits great except its too long (which I knew would be the case) but I''m so excited!!!!!!!

Wow, what a unique wedding dress. How pretty and relaxed, and it looks so comfy unlike a lot of dresses. I could totally see that for a beach wedding. Have you chosen your shoes yet?

No I haven''t found shoes yet...I''m thinking flip flops...I saw some nice ones on Jcrew. then for the parties that we will have when we get back I will wear heels.
so I''m going to have to be cautious when i get it altered so that the length works for both flats and low heels. I think it''s doable.

I''m also thnking of going with bronze or gold color shoes...since the inside of the sash is sort of a honey-gold. (seems like shoes that color are at least more wearable afterwards than silver)

Awesome dress. I can''t believe how quickly it came. That gives you plenty of time to find the perfect place to get it altered. If you are thinking about flipflops, try finding platform flip-flops, so you get the height so you don''t have to worry so much about the length.

and thank you all so much for the compliments on my dress! It is a bit heavier than I thought it would be so I'm kind of worried about how hot I will be in Belize. It's really lacy. Very pretty and romantic but it has the lace, then a liner behind it and then a general liner so it's like three fabrics thick!
I also wish it was more flow-y the way it is in the picture (which was why I thought the fabric was going to be more gauzy and light) but maybe once it's shortened it will move a bit more. Right now it drags on the ground. (like everything does on me as I am only 5'2")
