Hi fellow BIWs! Just thought I''d post my wedding invitations, since they''re finally done, and everyone else''s are so gorgeous, I thought I''d add mine to them!

I did them 100% myself, I''m lucky enough to actually be an art director for a stationery company, so I finally am able to take advantage of that.

See pics below!

The invite out of the envelope...

Eh. I thought about it but what the heck. First of all, my screen name has always been my last name...and secondly if I blurred out the names that would totally defeat the purpose of seeing what they looked like. Besides, we have a wedding website with all our names, pictures, dates and times on it so I can''t imagine that showing my invitations could really do that much more damage.

Thanks for checking me, though!

Thank you so much, ladies, for all your kind words.

Dreamgirl - I printed them in my office on our paper but I actually created them on my own in Photoshop. I design all the invitations my commpany sells so it was just like another design for me. I also designed and cut the little toppers. I bought the jackets and envelopes from another company, though. I feel really lucky to be able to do this because of my job, but I guess we all get a few perks here and there from our jobs.

GORGEOUS!!!! Those are really stunning. I''m so impressed.

Those are so beautiful! I really love the colors. How awesome that you did them yourself!!

www.paper-source.com had the jackets I was looking for, at the pricepoint I had in mind.

Those look great!!!! I have just been on my search for something like this and have found out that I can save TONS if I do them myself. I am about to buy photoshop, but do have a question if you don''t mind answering it. Do you just get those sorts of graphics in the program or do you have to create them from scratch or do you have to buy a graphics package too? I guess I am kind of just wondering the photoshop process b/c I don''t want to spend all of that money on photoshop if I don''t have to. Thanks and your invites are gorgeous!

Oh wow, these are gorgeous! You''re very talented!

Beautiful!

I LOVE them! What an awesome color combo, too.

Photoshop is more of a tool, than anything else. It''s not really going to provide you with any graphics or images, just the tools to colorize, change, nudge, flip, etc. the images you open in the program. So if you don''t know Photoshop at all, I don''t suggest buying it just to make your wedding invitations, because it does require quite a learning curve. There are other ways to half-diy your invitations by getting pretty papers and printing text on them at home, etc. Or, you can do what all my friends do and pay a designer buddy to make them for ya!! There are a lot of choices out there, and www.paper-source.com is a good place to start.
