I just want to share my story with everyone...
A couple months ago, I've started doing some research on an e-ring to get for my girlfriend. I've came across pricescope and the forums and I've found it EXTREMELY useful. I've been spending more and more time on pricescope during research and reading up on everyone's experience. After I figured out what I wanted, I seached a bit and found that a lot of people had great experiences with Mark Turnowski at www.engagementringsdirect.com. So I gave him a call. At first, I was skeptical of ordering the diamond siight unseen, however, after talking to Mark, he gave me a lot of confidence and we arranged to have it shipped to the local apraiser (Nancy Stacy). I was much more comfortable with this since I was able to see the diamond before paying for it. After about a week of emails and telephone conversations, I've decided on the diamond... a 1.32ct/H/SI1. Mark was a great help in helping me find this, he provide me a lot of diamond knowledge and help me find my perfect diamond. He hand picked all of his diamonds and only gave me the ones he knows are exceptional quality. Last week I went to Nancy Stacy and saw the diamond in person. I was really impressed with the diamond. Nancy appraised it to be a really strong H (almost a G) and a really clean SI1. Now, I am planning to have the diamond set locally (I am really picky on the setting).
Anyways, I just want to thank Mark for all his help, especially on the arrangement of the payment (we worked out something that saved me time and money). And I want to thank everyone here on pricescope who has contributed to such a educational and rich site + forums.
