She is 10 weeks, and going to the gyn for her first sonogram to hear the heartbeat. I''m so excited for her, and I''m so looking forward to the whole experience. Any advice for me, being that I don''t have any children.

what can I do for her? whats going to change?

Most moms get completely wrapped up in the baby and don''t necessarily think of their friends first. This is a normal shift into caring for another human being so be patient with her. Also, don''t EVER under ANY circumstances complain that your midsection isn''t flat enough. Women feel differently during pregnancy, she may be miserable or completely fine, totally excited or nervous as heck. Just be there for her to talk to.

Then, at the hospital, sneak in the good chocolate and hide it from the nurses.
