Davids Bridal (I tried on many empire waist flowy gowns but they seem just a tad too informal for my liking)

Here is my favorite one...

Satin strapless but the asymetrical skirt is kinda ugly but I LIKE THE OVERALL shape of the dress.

Casablanca...

Ohhh I like the first one on you...the straps really help to not shorten your body. Can''t wait to see more!

I also tried on this one from Alfred Angelo but they would not let me take pictures in the one salon that I tried it on in.

Alfred Angelo It was very adorable on and my favorite so far but the material seemed a little cheap.

and I really like this one but they did not have it at Davids Bridal to try on...

I don''t think the first one is flattering at all. Instead of coming flat out of the waist band, it poofs out which makes you look wider and shorter than you are. If you have your heart set on an empire waist, try Mon Cheri bridals. They have some great ones that are flattering and not informal at all. Look for last season''s Ophelia for example.

Of these three, I like the third, but it is clear you have a rocking body and none of these do it justice, you can do better

Hmmm....I also don''t think the first one is very flattering. Sorry.... The ''V'' seems a bit deep in the front, and I don''t particularly like the way it flares out from the waist. I think you look GORGEOUS in the Casablanca, though! It''s very beautiful on you!

Thanks! I like the casablanca as well!

Actually, I love the asymmetrical dress the best, and then the Casablanca. They''re beautiful!

I like the Casablance the best by far - I think it would be really flattering when fitted correctly.

Yep, I agree! I think the Casablanca looks great on you

I really LOVE the top of the first dress on you, but not so much the bottom. I definitely found that the satin from both David''s Bridal and AA weren''t as nice as other stores, although it wasn''t until I compared pictures of me in dresses from other stores that I realized how big of a difference it was.

Maybe I''m crazy, but I think the first one is SUPER flattering on you! You look so tiny in it!

The 3rd one is my next favorite, but I agree with brazen..you can do better.

The problem with me is that my rib cage is really wide and my waist is not as big so when I get a size that fits me in the chest around my rib cage the waist is too big. This is why I really like the corset backs because they are able to be adjusted.

That is probably a really wise thing to think about Al. Waist alterations can be so expensive too. My friend just got hers taken in at the waist, totally not complicated and it was almost $200 because of the boning, etc!

I love the way the straps on the first one frame you. I think my favorite is the last one though. Somehow I just don''t see you in a strapless based on this pic and other''s you have posted. I don''t know what it is because there''s nothing wrong with your shoulders, but you just seem perfectly proportioned and petite with straps

The Casablanca, hands down. It looks fabulous on you. The other two don''t even compare.

I like the casablanca the best by far, but I don't LOVE any of them. I think I've seen a few gowns that combine the ruching of the casablanca (and the fabric) with the shape of the second one but with a sweetheart neckline that I think might be flattering. Might be worth a shot?

I love the Casablanca! Makes me want to find it and try it on...

Okay I will try on the Alfred Angelo (it has a corset back) and a few others this weekend. I really like the look of the casablanca though! Alfred Angelo has that same look but a cheaper fabric. You girls can tell me if you think it looks it in pictures!

Of the 3 with pictures of you, the Casablanca is definitely my favorite!

I like the top of the first one on you but the bottom of it is just like a night gown.

the two that you have links to are also beautiful (more so than the other 2 in your pics). would love to see the Alfred Angelo on you.

by the way... the casablanca looks like it can get really wrinkled. not sure if that's what you want.
