Other dress...

I like the second one!

I like the first one--I think the hem is gorgeous, and it''s just the right amount of "fitted."

What KittyBean said, especially about the hem...

I''m going to be honest. I think they both make you look thick in the middle. I prefer the style of the second dress on your original post. It just needed to be altered to fit you a little closer.

I love the 2nd dress! What make is it? It''s simple and beautiful.

Of these, it''s a toss-up for me. I like the simplicity of the second but prefer the shape of the first.

In a similar way, the first 2 dresses from your other post are also a toss-up for me, because I like the shape and the lace-up back of #1, but #2 flatters your figure in a better way.

But honestly, I just am not loving the look of taffeta on you at all! I think you would look much lovelier in something less crinkly/poofy and more sleek, like satin or charmeuse.

I just wanted to note that these pictures were taken on a camara phone so the size is a little distored after I email them to my computer. I can see how they make me look wide because of that. Here is a little bit of a better picture- but its sideways!! I like the taffeta since it is lightweight and my wedding will be in Bermuda on the beach in August!

Well, in that case (and after looking at the sideways pics), the first one from this post is the clear winner in my eyes.

Funny about the camera phone...my camera phone distorts pics in the opposite way (makes me look thinner than I am when taken upright). Weird!

The first one looks almost identical to my mori lee dress! I think it''s gorgeous!

Yeah I don't know what it is with the camera phones pictures definitally don't look true to life. It looks fine on the phone then once I email it I have to rotate and crop it to fit right on the computer and then the pictures end up being streched out a bit. Next time I have to remember my real camera.

Mucho better

I''m loving dress #1 on you (undistorted)

I have to admit that I am not as tall as the second picture of Dress #1 is making me look. I have the hem of the dress hanging over the edge of the step! I am probably about 3-4" shorter than I look in that picture! I wish I had that height!

jersey girl, i like the 2nd one.....
SO MUCH that i want to go try it on!!!! :)

it looks so fabulous on you!
where in jersey are you from? i''m originally from NJ (south river)

The undistorted pictures TOTALLY change my first thoughts. I love number one!

You started your first thread with a disclaimer: I know I look like I am about 12 years old- but I''m not! I''ll be 27 next week. If looking your age is a concern to you, I think these two are much better than the first batch. I especially like the more fitted sillhouette of the second dress... but I I''m not WOW over this particular dress for some reason. However, I think you''re definately on the right track.

I know you'd probably get your dress altered so maybe you already know this. The dresses are sitting high on your torso and the bust is too high up, it looks like it's poking into your arm pits. I am guessing this is because you are short or have a shorter torso. So whichever one you decide on make sure the bust fits and that the length of the torso is correct. Between the 2 I like the the second one but I am having a hard time warming up to all the scrunchy fabric around the middle. It seems to be a very popular style but can be a distraction if it doesn't fit perfectly.

Because it was driving me nutty...

ditto i like this one!!

I like #1 also -- especially right side up

.

#1 looks GREAT on you! very flattering!

Out of those two, number one.

Taffeta is less hot in warm climates, but I''ll clue you in on something I wasn''t really aware of until I went dress shopping. . . men think that wrinkly, crinkly stuff looks like a wadded up bed sheet. My guy, and every man who offered an opinion about dresses I was looking at online at work, etc. said the exact same thing. Well, there was one guy would mentioned shower curtain instead of sheet!

I like dress 2, it''s simple and elegant.

My pick is dress #1. They both look great, but I thnk #1 hugs your body better making you look thinner in the right places (waist) and bigger in the right places (bust) :)! It just looks perfect.! #2 is very similar, but #1 is a "wower"! Can''t go wrong with either though.

number one is gorgeous! Really lovely on you!
