Seems like you''ve endeavored to integrate the search by cut options into the quick search database, which seems like a good idea. Also, seems as though the integration is hit & miss...with sometimes the miss associated with three decimal places (only sometimes resolved by entering 3 decimal places in the search querry), sometimes disassociated from that quantity issue in the carat criteria at all.
Of course, users should plan to do separate shopping in those two distinct databases anyway, but for either the strategic shopper wanting a visual hit of where their search by cut option falls out in the bigger database, or the new shopper who simply hasn''t even learned there are two different databases at all...seems like the idea of integrating the options is a good one, generally.
