Hi everyone,
My beautiful oriental black cat Louis has been missing for 4 days. This is very distressing for me, he is very loved and I am sick with worry about where he might be. This is totally out of character for him, he has only ever done this a couple of times before and never away longer then one day and night!
We have had him for over 9 years (since he was 3 mths old). My daughter recently got a kitten (female) and she is adorable and only 12 weeks old. Louis wasn't overly friendly towards her, hissing at her at first but then he seemed to tolerate her being around more recently. My concern is that he is a bit upset (cats being very territorial as they are) and that's way he has disappeared. We have been looking for him and asking the neighbours if they see him to let us know.
I have tried the animal shelter and they don't have him. I am just hoping he hasn't been accidentally locked in someones garage or house and they have gone away for Easter. He is not the friendliest cat to strangers and it's highly unlikely he would let anyone pick him up.
It's a horrible feeling not knowing where he is
Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice on what to do would be helpful, he is my baby and I feel helpless. My 18 year old son is upset too, Louis has been around half his lifetime and sleeps on his bed every night
