In this instance, big rock + overly blinging setting is not always better. The size of the centre rock is fine, this is PS after all. But when the main rock is that large and coupled with an unnecessarily complicated setting, IMO, it just looks vulgar.

The ring looks too big for her finger IMO. I'm guessing it's the setting causing this not the ct weight. The watches (Audemars Piquet), well, this is what AP does these days, they make huge, sometimes blingy (in the old days in the watchworld blingy watches were known as "jewelry watches" and it wasn't a compliment, jewelers bought cheap movements from other companies as opposed to being watchmakers), and lots of "limited" edition cash cows. AP is a Valle de Joux company (not Geneva) nonetheless it's known as one of the big 3 (now 4 with Lange from Germany). I've followed AP since the '80's and except for its best work (this isn't it) it's pretty much unrecognizable. Fail all the way around. If you make watches and rings huge, you end up with this kind of ostentatious display. And I have to admit when I read the title, "Miss Jackson" registered in my mind as WHO? Matching AP watches. I'm throwing up a little in my mouth.

I think it's too big ::gasp::
But I'm wondering what they are talking about when they say it's made completely of diamonds (no ring) just 'platinum fasteners' holding the diamonds together? Umm ok.. Isn't that an eternity band??

there's another picture here...it clearly does have metal, it's just quite thin...people that usually write up on celeb rings have no clue what they are talking about tbh
