Me want!

Wow, that is some beautiful aquamarine! I wonder what the dimensions are. DS (aquamarine shrinkage that is) would take a long time to set in with that baby I think... :cheeky:

Awful lot of money, Danny, for an aquamarine imho. Knowing Tiff, probably treated like mad too. They make this brooch with several other stones I find more appealing.

I've seen pics of it with a sapphire and with a tanzanite, both just gorgeous, can't find them now.

Yeah, filthy rich -- or just kind-of-dirty rich would be okay! When I was little, I told my mother once that I was sure I'd been born to wealthy parents & switched in the hospital. Her response: "Right. Just think about that real daughter of mine who's living in your rightful luxury!" Rats, shut me right up! :o

The aqua reminds me of Queen Elizabeth's Brazilian aquas. Gorgeous.

The peridot is too muddy for my taste and the citrine is too washed out.

Why oh why couldn't I have been born filthy rich? :cheeky:

But Danny, it's ONLY $72,000.!

You can get just the bird, without a stone for just under $9,000. Wait, let me see if I have that in the couch cushions.
LOL, find some for me while you're looking.

The bird alone doesn't float my boat; somehow too disorganized-looking, as if he didn't fix himself up after a bath. We had one with a sapphire in the store when I worked for Tiff's; it was really special. Bigger than a quarter, though, maybe about 1 1/2" tall.
