Pretty much each administration asks NATO allies to do this. Twas also asked by Obama admin. Now, whether or not they actually DO it, thats another story.

Maybe because its Trump and because of the unrest going on in Europe they will start paying nearer the 2%. Especially with the rise of more concerned about immigration candidates in some of those countries.

Hi,

I think previous administrations may have paid lip service to this. I agree that its about time they were called on it. I hope he continues to push for their share. Everything Trump does is not wrong.
