Did anyone happen to catch it? It was a little cheesy, but still entertaining. The kind of lighthearted no thought TV that I want to watch at 10pm while I am winding down to go to sleep.

Alec Baldwin, Kelly Ripa and Jerry Seinfeld were the refs last night, but they said that the refs will change out so that there is variety.

They are trying really hard. They had those names and had Natalie Morales as a fact checker another guy I cant remember his name right now that is a big name too.

I didn''t see it, but one of my friends recommended all women watch it because it will make their husbands look great by cmparison

I caught it and thought both of the couples were hilarious. When that lady told her husband that people in hell wanted ice water, but weren''t getting it (he wanted to get a stripper pole) I laughed out loud pretty hard.

DH and I watched a bit... I would prefer for the *judges* to be stand up comedians, like Sienfeld. Alec and Kelly seemed to be trying a bit too hard. They also spent wayyyy too much time talking about the situations.
(ie... the wife didn't want to dance on a stripper pole... so, conclusion, husband doesn't get stripper pole. Do you really need to talk about it for 15 mintues?)

The stuffed dog was HILARIOUS!

I actually thought that the couples were pretty funny themselves, without the stars making fun of them.

NEL- I cracked up at that comment!

Him: But I want it.
Her: Well, people in Hell want Ice Water, but they aren't getting that either!

LOL!!

As was finally pointed out by the ref, who wants to watch a miserable, P.O''d stripper who is visibly plotting to put laxatives in your food for dinner later?

I wonder why the premire was on last night, but the show is going to be coming on Thursday nights. It is better for me because I am in need of a Thursday night show, but I thought that was odd.

I think they are using people that are in sitcoms. Both Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey are on 30 Rock and they did well with humor on those shows so I think they thought they would do well there too. I am def. going to set it on the DVR. It might be a decent show.

My fave was the "I cant. I cant. I cant. I cant. I cannot. I cannot. I cannot..." from the first couple.

It was an "exercise pole"!

Hysterical - I''ll watch again Thursday.

Who else thinks that the real problem with the Indian/Chinese couple was that his mother is lurking underfoot and he escapes 3x a week and leaves HER with his mother, and that they never have ''couple time'' because the MIL is always underfoot?

I was suspicious until I heard her tone of voice/saw her facial expression when they asked her where the MIL was and she said "In India". Methinks it''s not about the badminton, at all.
