Marquise V-Head Question

Do you think the marquise V-Head takes away from a stone or adds to it I am trying to decided where or not to use one on my ring. I have some clouding or crystal on the one end of my marquise and thought the V-Head my hide it what do you think?

I have always liked a v head on a maquise, and if you have a small inclusion at the end of your marquise it would hide it nicely. Just my 0.2! hope this helps!

If given a choice, I prefer the "V" heads on Marquise stones. I think it gives it a cleaner look and may possibly protect the points more. Can a bench jeweler comment on this?
