Man converts his dead cat into an RC helicopter

I just think it's completely tasteless, honestly. The poor cat was killed on the road.

I see your point, but now that I've thought about it for a while letting Puddytat fly with the birds strikes me as more dignified than putting her underground to become maggot food.

My view, would I want that to be done to my body after I was dead/killed? Answer to that is no.
I do think the person who did it had good intentions, but I wouldn't want to inspire more crased people to do things similar to their or other people's cats.

I also think I would be more cool with it if the cat had a more natural pose, like it was jumping through the air. The pose is rather undignified.

Well, I was already disgusted and then he mentions at the end that its for sale?

As someone who has 2 sweet cats that think they own me, I think its morbid and awful. I hope my girls have a long life, but when they die, the idea lf turning them into a toy is soooo distasteful and gross.

Oh, dear lord. If that black cat sniffing the remains is his brother ... that just seems macabre.

I mean, it's macabre either way, but ... what do you think that other cat is thinking? "Man, back in the day, they worshiped us as gods and mummified us just like them. Now we get kit out with whirliwigs? That's it, I'm using the other eight lives and outliving the monkey so I can have some DIGNITY in the the afterlife."

I agree, especially since this cat died being run over by a car, but flat and spread eagle is probably the most aerodynamic shape.
It is also the shape you'd imagine you'd see if cats really could fly.

I love our dogs dearly and when they die will be heartbroken and lay them to rest to return to the earth.
For me I want to grieve and move on with my life.
I will always remember them with love but I don't want their remains to remain with me.

I do believe some people have their pets taxidermied and displayed in their home.
Maybe they find it comforting, but that's not for me.
Some people also keep the ashes of loved ones, human, in urns in their home.

The helicopter idea is pretty whacky, but I admit I think it's kind of cool.

If he did it knowing he'd get worldwide media attention to help raise the price when he sells it I think that is beyond disrespectful to his pet.
