So, we made a big push this week, and our invitations are (basically - still chasing down a few addresses) done, stuffed, sealed, stamped and ready to be dropped off at the post office. We had our e-pics taken on Sunday, the BM dresses came in on Monday, all but one of the guys have been measured for their tuxes, and I ordered straw palm-shaped hand fans from Oriental Trading for our guests during the ceremony. I finally chose a florist a week or two ago. So now our to-do list basically consists of...
Put in order for chaircovers
Dress fittings - currently working on getting my first appointment set up for next month with the woman all the local knot ladies worship
Figuring out the music list for the DJ
Choosing/writing our ceremony/reading(s)/vows
Choosing hors d'oeuvres
Handling RSVPs when they start to come in
Find thankyou notes
Attend my bridal shower next month
Get the list of names for my "bachelorette" party to my MOH (it's going to be pretty low key)
Deciding where to get ready the day-of and other timeline details
Have my 2nd hair trial on Tuesday (fingers crossed that this one goes better than the first)
Find hair pins
Figure out a plan to get us and bridal party and photographers from ceremony to photos to reception without a limo.
Keep track of payments we still need to make
Come up with our table names and make the cards
Favors?
Seating chart and escort cards (might let our venue coordinator do the escort cards since she offered)
Price out rehearsal dinner locations and figure out the guest list (that one is going to be tricky because every single member of our family is coming from OOT...)
Send my rings to Mark Morrell to be sized down
Meet with vendors and day of coordinator closer to the wedding
Get all of our vendor and schedule info to the DOC
Find a wedding gift for FI
Find gifts for bridal party and parents
I'm sure there's more, but that's what comes to mind right now. Despite all of that, with the big pressing issues taken care of (like invitations and florist), I suddenly feel really lost. Like I'm missing something. I know lots of brides feel that way once the wedding is over; has anyone else felt it even earlier like I am? I know I should just be relieved and happy that I can focus on school more, but I can't shake this feeling...
