I am having trouble finding information about professional makeup artists, and makeup trials. First of all, where the heck can I find a darn good makeup pro. There is not a MAC store near the wedding site, and the closest mall is about 30 mins away. That may not be an option for my 11:00 AM wedding.

Also, how necessary is a makeup trial. I have heard horror stories about people''s makeup trials, so I nervous to skip having one, but I am also not sure it would be worth the money.

I am tempted to do my own makeup, but I want to look a little different on the day of my wedding.

Can you guys tell me everything I need to know about makeup pros and trials.

Often salons will have makeup artists on staff, some will even come to your site. That would be the first place I'd check.

And you ABSOLUTELY should spend the $ for a trial. Your makeup on your wedding day is one of the things that you will see forever in your pictures, you don't want to hate how you look. There are many many many bad "pros" out there.
