Bummer!! Sounds like a pain in the butt to me. I think you were right to try to report possible drinking and driving; I wouldn''t get hung up over a rude operator though, they might have been having a night with an esp. large number of calls, other incidences way worse, etc. Don''t take it personally! And try the non-emergency # next time, or just try and talk to your neighbors yourself. A lot of times people can be much more accommodating/respectful than you would think, especially if you are neighbors.

it could have been worse, smurfy....

see this...
LOL, I remember a woman also calling 911 from a McDonald''s b/c they didn''t have any chicken mc nuggets. She REEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY wanted her mc nuggets. The funniest is the off-duty police who had been smoking marijuana and called 911 b/c he thought he was dead. No, you''re just stoned.

My father always used to say ''you can''t be the world''s policeman.'' Maybe not such a wise saying, but still, there is some merit in my opinion.

You say these motorcyclists were in their driveway? The female tipped her bike in her driveway? I''m not sure how that qualifies as an emergency and warrants a 911 call from a neighbor (you.) Maybe I don''t have all the facts, but seriously...are you just trying to be a good samaritan or are you just being a nosy neighbor? I know that when you''re trying to have a peaceful time at home that things like that can be annoying, but tying up the 911 line with something like that? I don''t know. I''m kind of at a loss over this one, smurfy.
