DITTO the current Madonna is very different from the ORIGINAL Madonna, so I didn''t vote.

For the record, I love the original and I HATE the current!

I don't care at ALL one way or the other about Madonna. Completely neutral about her, she could keep singing for 20 years or drop into obscurity and I wouldn't care less or probably even notice.


Though I suppose that may fall into option 2, but I'm reading that as "I am NOT a fan of Madonna" as in "I am a non-fan of Madonna" or "I do not like her or her music."

I''m not a huge fan. Not crazy about her music (maybe a few 80''s songs) and I don''t think she can sing very well. She does have an amazing ability to change her image, and I think that was the main reason she was so popular.

Although like Musey, I probably wouldn''t care/notice if she was around or not.

I think she''s much more intelligent and has much more depth as a person than people give her credit for. A lot of people don''t know that she''s a big time art collector, especially of Frida Kahlo''s work. I''m a fan.

Neither. I like about 95% of her older songs, 50% of her newer songs. I don''t usually seek her music out but sing and dance if it''s on. I don''t care about her as a celebrity one way or another.

That would be my position, as well. I did vote however as "not a fan", just 'cuz I figured a fan would care.

She gets an A for marketing herself anew with each passing half decade. Is she still relevant? No. But she still makes good copy for the rags. No one can say the woman is not smart; is there anyone on the planet under 50 who DOESN''T know who Madonna is?

She gets a D for who she is personally. In all aspects. Including her ''marketing'' choices. Personally, I''ve never spent a dime to help her attain her infamy.
