So, I was in the basement this evening watching some HSN/QVC type show. I was on the elliptical and we haven''t wired the basement for cable...and I''ll watch anything to take my mind off the fact that I''m exercising...

Anyhoodle, the presented was showing a lovely 4 carat fake diamond thingamajig and she said that the price of $120.00 was a great deal and that you''d save thousands of dollars over a real diamond. And then proceeded to say that a nice 4 carat diamond would cost $6,000-$7,000. Mmmmmhmmmmm.

I got a good chuckle on that one...

i''ve noticed those outrageous claims/diamond price estimates on HSN too. i''m such a sucker... i''ll watch anything twinkly no matter how much BS they''re spouting.
