OH. MY. WORD. What did Janet Jackson do to complete this feat??? Eat like a freakin'' bird? Utterly amazing...and might I add, incredibly unhealthy.

::munching on stupid rice cakes now to leave room for yummy movie popcorn later::

I just had that issue of US Weekly delivered in the mail and saw the cover, but haven''t read the article yet.

Yeah thats a really unhealthy speed to lose weight if you want to keep it off!

yep i have that US weekly issue too, but haven''t read that article yet. she has yo-yo''d with her weight many times which is sooo not healthy for your body.

she gained weight for a movie apparently that never happened, then had to get it all off.

reading the article about ''hot bodies at any age'' totally motivated me this afternoon to get off my butt and go outside to walk 2.5 miles then i came inside and did a bunch of jumping jacks at intervals. now i can go eat some carbs!

It''s funny that now she says it was for a movie role. I heard before that she said that she was a stress eater and that she put on the weight around the time of brother Michael''s legal battles.

Hollywood costumers make incredible looking fat suits these days, why would an actress need to put on that much weight for a movie role? I know Renee Zelweigger put on 20+ pounds for Bridgette Jone''s Diary but 60 pounds on a 5''4" woman seems excessive. Why can''t she just admit that she''s human like everyone else and she let her weight get away from her for a while?

Because she is not human....she is hollywood!

I received my US weekly today too, and I was shocked to read that she lost all that weight in such little time.

According to the gossip site perezhilton (I love this site!) the photo was photo shopped is anyone surprised? But she certainly has lost a lot of weight. Here is the link scroll down

(warning for those offended by crude language don't read this site this boy has a foul mouth

You can lose 60 pounds in 4 months or shorter without using unsafe methods. Please be open minded. THE ONLY SAFE METHOD I KNOW IS THE RAW VEGAN DIET. WHICH IS A LIFESTYLE CHANGE, NOT A FAD DIET. I"VE SEEN PEOPLE LOSE 60 POUNDS IN A MONTH. WITHOUT HEALTH CONSEQUENCES, BUT YOU NEED A REALLY GOOD COACH. My closest friend lost a lot of weight and have kept it off for years on this diet. There is hope for people who don''t want a cosmetic change, but a lifestyle change. Hehad a website, but I''m not sure where it is anymore. But I''m sure he would answer private emails if you posted them.

Now that I read the article it''s even MORE suspect - did you see that she said she was plateaued for 2 months? That would essentially make it 60 pounds in TWO months.

i''m sure losing that kind of weight is DOABLE in that time frame but is it healthy for you long term? skin elasticity typically suffers, they say that people who gain and lose lots of weight throughout their life could actually be aging themselves faster, renee zellweger anyone? not to mention what it probably does to your organs to go from having to work one way to work another...your heart has to work harder when you carry more weight, etc.

the article was totally suspect, i saw that too FG re: the plateau for 2 months. also how are you supposed to eat that ''sample diet'' that was posted and workout most likely as vigorously as one would need to in order to lose the weight AND be toned? the trainer said he put her on 1100-1400 calories a day? and then how many workouts a week? that doesn''t seem healthy at all.

anyway, i was sooo not into the whole porno cover shot of her with her abs and the camo g-string bikini, what is this playboy?

lol at Mara''s porno cover comment

yes, I agree with Mara......and can we say " liposuction, or cosmetic enhancements???"

I am a personal trainer, and there is no way her abs would look like that after losing 60 pounds in 4-6 months....she would have some elasticity problems that would take more time than that to tighten up.....

otherwise they airbrushed the hell out of that pic.

the most weight you should loose in a healthy way is 1-2 lbs per week. A severly overweight person may loose alittle more, but it would mostly be water weight. Loosing any faster will lead to huge flabby skin problems.

I thought the article was a bunch of bunk.....once again hollywood is showing unrealistic ways for people to loose weight.....and we wonder why we have so many women with eating disorders, etc....
sad...

hehe - me too. It''s been the only US Weekly issue I keep face down.

She said she used fat burners in the past to lose weight, but not this time. It does seem highly unlikely to lose that kind of weight in such a short amount of time. My hair stylist is going to try Adipex, the newest diet pill. Doctors prescribe it, but you can buy it on the internet. I read that it''s an amphetamine and can cause addiction, heart racing, etc. It doesn''t sound safe at all.
