Wedding Looking for make-up artist

Anyone know of a good make-up artist servicing the NYC area? I''m not getting married until next year, but I want to start looking around to see what the pricing is like... Thanks!

a lot of make-up counters or stores can help. I know MAC can do this and I think Sephora can help as well. I don''t know of a specific artist, but this might help you to get the ball rolling w/ your search

My advice is to always avoid makeup counters and big business stores like the plauge on your wedding day...

Sally Duvall is doing my 4 bridesmaids'' and my makeup. For hair, Stacy Pitt (Styles on B) is insanely fantastic and affordable. Sally is expensive but totally trustworthy and reliable. A friend of mine had her makeup done by Tricia Catenaro, but she said you have to make sure you do a trial with her because she tends to use too much makeup. She''s supposed to be more reasonable in terms of pricing.

By the way, I would say book as soon as you can, because Sally and Stacy book really quickly. I got lucky b/c my wedding is on a Sunday morning. It could take 3 months to book a trial with Stacy because she''s so busy.
