L'Odyssée de Cartier

that is cool! I saw that on FB the other day! thanks for sharing!

We were watching Celebrity apprentice last week and this took up the entire commercial break one time. I thought it was really cool, DH didn't get it and thought it was weird that they spent the entire commercial break on one brand.

Pretty to watch & a neat piece of filmmaking, but I would've liked to see more of their fantastic bling.

Fantastic, this was on tv on Friday night and even dh was impressed, and he is NOT interested in jewellery!

I saw it on Friday too lottie, whilst flipping channels.

I thought it was wonderful and hit rewind on the sky plus box

Husband thought I was nuts :cheeky:

I think this is so AWESOME!

The dragon is obviously a nod to the Hong Kong luxury market (which is where I got my used Cartier watch), the largest, freest-spending luxury market in the world. All those rich ladies with banker husbands, and servants, they sure like to shop. I would love to be one of them.

I SO want the little leopard pin that they start out with. :cheeky: Easy $40K, no doubt.

Thank you for posting that, Thing2, Ima go watch it again!! And again. And again . . .

They do have some stuff on their website, if that helps.

HI:

Speechless--saw it on the weekend and was....speechless.

My first custom piece emulated the crocodile---loved that thing as it was beautiful...but it wasn't Cartier!

cheers--Sharon

Ahh, beautifully done, as one would expect!

Interesting! I, too, saw it on TV, but I missed the first few seconds of it. I spent nearly the entire thing trying to figure out who made the "commercial", and ended up being wrong.

I saw that on TV too. Nice commercial and long!

Yes, awesome! Thanks!

I loved all the references to their iconic jewelry and watches: the leopard, the Santos, the tutti frutti pieces. The dragon was also used in their oriental inspired pieces and for their perfume, Le Baiser du Dragon (the Dragon's Kiss). So many cool details!
