Ugh...sick!! I went for a run in my t-shirt today.

Calgary weather is quite bizarre, it''ll probably be 30 degrees in a day or so, huh?

You know it DB! We saw our hottest day of the summer in the last week of September and the coldest October day on record was less than 10 days later.

As they say here frequently, if you don''t like the weather - wait a minute!

Thanks Packrat, pretty, but pretty boring when all you see is white between 3rd week in November to 3rd week in April. That''s always when the lake freezes and thaws.

I do like to see the geese gathering for their migration though.

I love how snow looks!... It''s just a little early in the year for me. Usually, here in Michigan, we experience a bit of an Indian Summer around this time. But this year, it has been consistently cold and crappy.

I''m heading to Ottawa this afternoon for a friend''s wedding, and it''s supposed to snow all weekend long. BLAHHHHHH...WHERE IS MY SUMMER?!?! It was similar here in Toronto, the only week of summer we had was mid September and then two weeks later it was freezing (not anywhere close to Cowtown

though).

I have to say for all the complaining I do about the snow, I do love the weather here. It''s either hot or it''s cold, rarely inbetween. The sun shines far more than it doesn''t and we have that famous big Alberta blue sky. Anyone that''s interested can google "Big Alberta Blue Sky" in images to see what I mean. It really is vast.

I don''t miss the months and months of grey or higher humidity one bit.

You are not wrong about the sunglasses Diana. They are a year round necessity here, as is sunscreen.

We must find a way to meet if you ever come to Calgary. Have fun next week on your trip.
