I don''t know why this reminds me of her (generally not a good thing)....but I think I like this setting...can''t show you b/c of leon''s site/copyright...I''m not even sure my 5th anniv presie will have anything to do with diamonds because I''m kind of focusing on different things these days....but I''m thinking it out...

Just wondering what you all think...My cushion would be in the middle...

I thought about a style like that for a while... I do NOT think it is brittney spearsish though LOL wedding bands would sit flush... sort of LOL

Not sure where you''re getting the Britney Spears idea from... this ring is beautiful -- not over-the-top and gaudy and a tad bit trashy as I was expecting!

Looks snazzy!

Aussie

I actually think that setting is quite beautiful and not "Brittany trash" at all, but it pains me to think of you separating your gorgeous cushion from your magnificent three stone cushion ring!

I am NOT a Britney fan, at all, but I actually love her ering style.

This is different though, bc the bands aren''t straight, as hers are. I think this one is lovely too!!

HI mmm!!!

I LOVE your ring- the Leon one is very pretty too...but I too would hate to see the 3 girls split up...

Do you not want the 3 stone look anymore?

I think you should do whatever makes you happy- its hard to give advice like this- people''s tastes change and evolve, so you have to go with whatever you like...

Reminds me of my current predicament- if you get a chance, read through my thread in SMTR- I am curious to hear your opinion!!!!

Thanks guys!!! I appreciate the input....I'm not really sure what to do b/c I admit I do lust for a larer stone one day, but I think I'm at a point where I really need to start thinking about other things, #1 is moving in the next three years and have already started my 'design' folder...I have the color of my wood floors picked out, kitchen picked out LOL...what a loser!!!)

...and I actually really like my stone.....So I would ask Mark to make the setting or something..I wouldn't want diamonds in the back like the Leon b/c I'm a hand lotion freak and trying to lose some weight...I would wear no band b/c my band is a large-ish princess band that I wear alone...

I dunno, when I see my ring I think that the side stones take away from the center...?...Maybe just a new setting for the three? I want the front stone a bit higher and the girls set back...

But there is something about that Leon that I like a lot...and the girls would go into earrings or something...

Anyhoo...thanks again!!! :)

Anyway, have a few months to think about it....THANKS!

I was thinking along the lines of what Sophie said. Don''t necessarily care for Brittany Spears'' image, but I do like the design of her ring. And I really, really like the setting you posted MMM. It''s not garish or too modern so as not to withstand the passage of time.

That''s exactly why I''m not a fan of three stone rings. Unless the side stones are signifigantly smaller than the centre, I just find that my eyes can''t appreciate the fire and sparkle of each stone as much, and that visually it just becomes a square blob of bling, and loses the ka-POW! of a diamond for me. I find that the sides tones do take away from the centre stone, in most cases, for me. That''s just me, though.

I like the ratio of Kaleigh''s ring, it looks gorgeous!

I think this is a matter of perspective. I think many new brides want a solitaire to show off their beautiful diamond, but I have been married for a long time and have already worn a solitaire for many years. I was ready for a change and I really love that "blob of bling" in my three stone ring!!!

Hi MMM!

I''m not a fan of Britney but her ring isn''t quite like the LM that you posted. I personally love split shanks and I''m sure if you go with that type of setting, and my LM, it would be stunning!

I would suggest trying on some similar to that style first. I thought I wanted to set my oval that way, but after trying some on, I hated how I could see my skin in between the bands. It just didn''t look the same as the pictures of the rings alone.

How long have you had your cushion in a 3 stone? Are you just tired of the setting or unsure of what you want for your anniver. and think a reset would be a good gift?

I like the prongs on the ring you posted but I agree that you should try some settings like this on your hand. Some settings look good in pictures, or on other people but not on my hand!

I wouldn't let the fact that Britney Spears picked out a similar ring to buy for herself because K.Fed couldn't afford to buy her one influence your decision.

As they say down south - "even a blind pig finds an acorn sometimes"

I love your cushions and think they would look spectacular in the Leon setting Widget chose for her stones. I think with the size of your centre stone now and the size of your finger you''d be disappointed with the setting you''ve posted.

Wouldn''t it be great if there was a software somewhere like the kind that you plug your face into and it lets you try on different hair styles, except for ring styles on your finger? I''d be addicted. Truly.

I actually like Britney''s ring better (just my 2 cents) I usually LOVE LM''s rings but this one seems a little awkward to me. But if you love it then it is something you should think about. Cushion studs would be beautiful!

I really like Brit''s too.

HI:

I like that LM ring very much. And earrings with your side stones would be great--LM has a beautfiul settings for those too!

cheers--Sharon

you could set all 3 in a setting like that with space between them, a less traditional 3-stone ring... I need to start thinknig about other things too... I just want to get it done and over at this point.

Ditto to this - see how it looks on your hand first. I see lean long piano hands for that setting; I'm guessing this is NOT a style that works on everyone.

I *REALLY* love your three stone. (pea green with envy love.)
It's pretty special to have three ex/ex cushions.
If I were you I'd have Leon design a three stone setting - something snazzy or super elegant like Widget's depending on which way you want to go.

Just my .02

Scintillating...
