Plus, after a large pay with lots of overtime and call-ins, once the bills are paid and the mortgage is in check, I have no issues with rewarding myself with something glittery

As some others have already said, welcome to the real world of adulthood! I noticed you mention your job is "fun" and I'd like to say that if you think your job is "fun" then consider yourself lucky because work is work, not "fun". So if you get enjoyment from your job you're already WAY ahead of the game!

You mention health issues but I cant imagine anyone not being able to do beginners Yoga (they have classes for people with ailments too so you might look into that). None of your routine seems to involve anything other than going directly home and staying put. Why not find a mellow yoga class a couple times per week, or even a meditation class...No physical exertion involved at all in meditation! Just sit and relax! And why not go for a mellow, long slow walk a few times a week. I'm not talking about an aerobic walk, but just something mellow. Or when you get off work drive to the beach and go for a walk in the sand, or stroll the Santa Monica park above the beach and then grab dinner out instead of cooking at home (maybe make this a weekday date night with your FI???). There are plenty of things you can do but it sounds like you're limiting yourself to only going directly home after work. Ask your co-workers what they do after work. Invite them for a drink, dinner or mellow activity after work one day. Also, I dont know what part of the city you work in but you could bring your lunch and have a picnic lunch outdoors a few times per week. Or eat lunch at your desk while you work and take your lunch hour and go for a stroll outside, or go window shopping to break up your day.

Hope that helps but honestly, this is the real world now. When people complain their jobs aren't fun, I usually say, "well, there's a reason they call it 'work' and not 'play', right?" In your case, your work seems fun to you so you're really REALLY lucky already.
