Oh, hey, I wanted to tell you that your ring is the inspiration for my sister's 3 stone cushion she's having made. All set E-W, with a tiny bevel like mine. Thank you so much for posting so many pics of your profile . . . it's really helped with the CADs my husband is working on.

No idea when they're going to start on it, but they have the diamonds already, so it's just a matter of time!

I had a moment of realizing my parents'' mortality this week. My Dad went to the ER this week with another bout of atrial fib.

Just bear in mind that, especially in this time of year, the gifts we should cherish most are not those that can be purchased. If you are lucky enough to still have your Dad in your life, hug him as soon as you see him.

I am sooo ready this year! I had all my gifts bought and wrapped almost 3 weeks ago. (that is very unlike me, btw)

And I don''t really have any cooking to do, so I''m good to go......Although the weather is pretty lousy right now, so hopefully the driving isn''t too treacherous. Thankfully its only about 35 miles to my parents.
