Prayers for all those affected. Please stay safe.

This is a terrible thing for that area. I grew up in the valley just a bit south of this dam. When the water was low the past few years, the powers that be did not want to spend the $$ to fix the old dam and spillway. Well now it is going to be an emergency and cost hundreds of millions to repair.

The situation has actually been downgraded. No longer mandatory evacuations. Just a warning.
