Lady Gaga and her face pearls

First I would like to say that I appreciate her style in that it is original. Sometimes it is cool, but sometimes not. I found an article on MSN homepage and it took me to this picture.

The first thing that came to mind was Barnacles!

When you see her face from a distance it makes me think..... imagine if you went out drinking and drank too much. Then you threw up and fell asleep in it. Then you get up the next morning and look in the mirror. Thats what she looks like.

I think it looks pretty. For an entertainer. Reminds me of sand on wet skin or a henna tattoo.
All that white makes her teeth look yellow, though.

ETA: it's the hat that makes it all look ridiculous (for me)

I''d never buy her music, but then I have not bought any music for over 5 years (no I do NOT download music.)
Radio and my old CD collection is enough for me, especially since I prefer classical music.

Gaga has a good voice and that Bad Romance video was very creative.

Sure she pushes buttons to get attention.
Nothing new there.

OK, I think these could have been done much better. Like if she had put just a few in an artistic design/pattern just around her eyes for example. All over her face in random spots like that, they just make her look like she has some freaky skin condition!

I''m not a fan. I think she tries too hard. She tries so hard to make sure everyone knows how creative and artistic she is, but I''ve seen and heard everything she does before. The thing is that most of her fans aren''t old enough to know where she is drawing her inspiration from.

There are only so many club songs and wack-a-doo outfits one person can churn out before it gets tired. It''s like show us what else you can do.

Would anyone expect one of the most flamboyant young pop stars to come along in decades to be the fashion ideal of a middle aged New England matron? (Apparently we both went to prep school, however! She should have paid more attention in French class.)

She's definitely not my role model for fashion but I love her ensembles. She's a performer and her outfits are art, really-not clothing. I love them all, even the weirdest ones!
