BBQ salmon filets with a tossed green, avocado and walnut salad, with walnut oil and sweet chili sauce dressing.

(you're welcome to come and wash up, or fight the dogs for the leftovers!)

We are painting the family room and were just going to do something quick.

Although my hubby LOVES salmon, I hate it, ha ha ha. May I please substitute a chicken breast??? I will bring it.

We ate a couple of hours ago--shrimp, stir fry vegetables, cashews and plum sauce tossed in Chinese noodles. Leftovers are in the fridge.

Crock pot Chuck roast, with potatoe casserole ( I call it funeral potato) gravy and tossed salad, our usual Sat or Sun weekend dinner, and Rice Crispy treats for dessert.

Tandoori Chicken wraps. I was going to make them last night, but as I put the ingredients together and looker closer at the recipe, I realized I''d neglected to read the line that said "marinate 6 hours or overnight". So tonight it is....

We''re having friends over for the big UFC fight tonight. We''re not doing anything fancy--it is, after all, a mixed martial arts fight! We normally just order pizza, but tonight we''re breaking in our new grill.

The menu:
- Grilled burgers, hot dogs, brats, etc.
- Grilled asparagus
- Apple cole slaw
- Fresh veggies and dip
- Chips and salsa and guacamole
- Apple pie and vanilla ice cream

We're having friends over for the big UFC fight tonight. We're not doing anything fancy--it is, after all, a mixed martial arts fight! We normally just order pizza, but tonight we're breaking in our new grill.

The menu:

I add a few tbsp of cider vinegar because we prefer the flavor. So easy and it''s always a crowd pleaser!
