After thinking about my post, I want to apologize. While I was simply wanting to make light of the "proposed end" of the world, which I know is not going to happen on that day, it was an insensitive remark. Because of the irresponsiblity of the media in perpetuating this "sensationalistic" material, there are people (many are teens) who have actually committed suicide over it. Obviously that's very serious, and nothing in regards to it should really be a joking matter. So I am very sorry I thoughtlessly remarked on it.
