They're both handsome, sexy men. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is a very bad boy, however. There's a lot more to learn about his background than watching, "Vanity Fair" will tell you! I loved him as Henry VIII, and had certainly noticed him before that. Gabriel Byrne seems more complex as an actor to me. But maybe it's just an impression.

imdb.com certainly went into some of that bad boy background.......not an easy way to grow up either.....

Gabriel Byrne is older and has more experience. i was the recipient of a personal smile from him at TIFF one year....man, he can make one weak in the knees when he directs it at you!

I loved Jon Rhys-Meyers from Gormenghast, sigh :cheeky:

and it bend it like beckham too...to be honest i find his portrayal of Henry compelling but off-putting!

he "made" that program. i can't imagine anyone else doing that part as well.

It has the same actor in my avatar.

You're welcome.

And I always thought that was a picture of you in your avatar!

Don't I wish.

I wouldn't mind having the earl's gold coronet either.

He's gorgeous! A friend of mine went to school with him. Says he lived up to his bad-boy reputation in that he misbehaved but was nice overall!
