Labor Day Plans?? :)

So last weekend we threw my dad a big birthday bash and the following weekend we are having a block party for 100 people and I am on the planning committee.
THIS WEEKEND. . . I am super excited to do pretty much nothing, I am thinking of making bbq ribs, watching my twins play in their swimming pool and just relaxing outdoors (since the weather is extra beautiful and it has cooled down).

What are your Labor Day weekend Plans?

Cleaning out my house some more, doing some design work, and on Sunday getting a massage!

We're off to our daughter and son-in-law's cottage. It's on an island in Georgian Bay - beautiful waterfront views, fine cuisine and great cocktails. If the weather looks promising, we'll have our customary bonfire complete with s'mores and white wine to wash them down.

This is our very small annual family reunion and has the same caveat as Vegas. What happens at the cottage stays at the cottage.

How fun! I thought block parties were only for people on TV! I'm jealous! That sounds so fun!

We're heading to the Jersey shore friday morning and hopefully it will be good enough weather for cycling by the ocean and then swimming/kayaking.

We're going to a wedding. I'm glad it's at a venue close to us because I hate traveling over Labor Day weekend. Other than the wedding, we'll just be hanging out at home and possibly seeing my parents before they leave for vacation.

Our best buddies are having a UM vs Alabama bash on Saturday (both her and my husband are both obsessed with UM football). On Sunday we have no plans and on Monday we're going to a BBQ at the in-laws. So mostly time with friends and family.

My husband is emcee'ing an event over the weekend and I will try my best to get there with baby. We live in the Midwest and there is some serious rain predicted this weekend due to the hurricane down on the Gulf Coast.

Not sure what plan b is...hopefully we'll do an impromptu get together with friends and/or family if the festival is rained out.

We're going to Phildelphia to see Bruce Sunday nite and spending the nite.

I SO don't wanna go--but the husband has taken me to so many Celtic Thunder, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Arlo Guthrie and Liza Minelli {yeah, go ahead and laugh} concerts, that I have to go and pretend I'm having a good time.

It's a outdoor concert, I hope it doesn't rain.

We may head out to Royal Oak for Art, Eats, and Beats today. Monday, I'm making ribs and playing outside with my boy! (It's my last "free" day to play with him before school starts!)
