Yes, I''m planning on having family members in my wedding party. However, it hasn''t been that hard for me to choose which ones since there aren''t that many to choose from! I have two brothers, and one will be a groomsman, while the other (he''s pretty young) will be an usher and "Man Friday," meaning he''ll do whatever we need him to do. My FI has only one brother, who will be the best man. Neither of us have any sisters, so my bridal party consists of six friends and one of my girl cousins, with whom I''m pretty close. I have another girl cousin who could''ve been a junior bridesmaid, but she gets very anxious and panicked in social situations, and we decided it would be best for her not to be in the bridal party.Date: 12/2/2008 10:12:57 AM

Are you having family members in your wedding party and if so, how do you know where to cut some out? I think I may get pressure from my father''s mother to include a female cousin that I hardly know. I don''t want to hurt anyone''s feelings, but I don''t know what to do.
Thank you, Dreamgirl! You are always such a darling.Date: 12/2/2008 6:32:28 PM

I loved reading all of that! I used to be a gymnist myself! For several years actually. I was pretty good at it and even took 3rd in state for the vault. But, I got bored with it and turned to figure skating which I did for several more years.
I love your wedding inspiration board!!! Green and purple go together so well. You will have a gorgeous wedding, I just know it! And it also sounds like your FI is a wonderful man indeed!
You are always such a dear sweetheart. I''m so happy to have your company on PS! How about your favorite types of movies?
Thanks, Skippy! I definitely would love to learn more languages, and to perfect the ones I already know. French and German are both on my list--French because I think it''s beautiful, and it''s spoken in so many places, and German because it''s my FI''s mother''s native language.Date: 12/3/2008 11:16:44 AM

Wow, what a fascinating life!!! I laughed at the science part because when I got to Chem II and Biology II I said forget it, this isn''t for me. I bet criminal defense is fascinating. Wow 4 languages; do you want to learn more? My sister was born on Christmas eve too!
Ah, your FI and you sound so sweet! Gosh, I can''t believe the waiter or kitchen staff put nuts in your meal, scary!!! You have a keeper there!I have enjoyed reading your story!!![]()

I'm impressed that you were such a good vaulter. I had such a love-hate (okay, more hate than love) relationship with vault and beam. I psyched myself out all the time! I was best at floor and bars (floor was my real love). I tried figure skating for a little while, but never got into it. I always admired the girls who looked so graceful on the ice.
I must have missed this. What were you scared of kitty? I guess I can just go and find it too...lolDate: 12/10/2008 1:38:19 AM

Hi Sarah! Wedding plans are chugging along. I''m looking at making my final invitation selections soon as I''m planning to send them in February; I know it''s a little early, but we wanted to give everyone plenty of notice, and if regrets start rolling in, we want to invite more of our friends! I have been dealing with some bureaucratic frustration at the church, but our marriage preparation and counseling is right on schedule.Date: 12/10/2008 1:38:19 AM

I was terrified that FI would never call me again after our first "fancy date" ended in complete disaster. Cliff Notes version: I had a terrible allergic reaction at the restaurant, had to go to the hospital, got a migraine on top of it, got pumped full of drugs, kept FI up all night when he had to go to work the next day, and was too drugged up to drive myself home, which necessitated my dad and brother coming to collect me and my car from FI''s apartment the next morning. So awful.Date: 12/10/2008 12:54:12 PM

You seem like a very driven woman...It sounds like you''ve accomplished a lot for being 25. What do you think has been your greatest challenge in life? What about success?
Thank you so much, Sizzle. I''m so glad I took the excellent advice of so many wise PSers and stayed judgment on the ring ''til I saw it. I honestly love it more every day.Date: 12/28/2008 2:13:27 PM
