Hi ladies!
35.gif

I just wanted to check in as I've been quite absent as of late. Weston and I just returned from my Uncle's wedding in Lake Tahoe, and it was Heavenly (and also took place in Heavenly, ironically enough).

I thought I'd share some pictures of our trip, as we have already decided we will probably marry in Tahoe as my parents just moved to Reno.

My parents have a pic of Leah and I when we were 5 and 10. We're going to give this to them as a 20 Years Later pic.

Funny story, Cheryl's e-ring looks almost exactly like the setting for my sapphire RHR.

ooh such pretty pictures! Heavenly sounds like the perfect place to get married... and it looks absolutely gorgeous! In the beach picture, is that your and Weston''s shadow? So cute!

Yup, we take that pic everywhere we go with water . . .

This was in Jamaica in June . . . not the best example.

Awww, your pics are soooo cute! You and Weston make such an adorable couple!!!!

What a gorgeous setting for a wedding! You two are an adorable couple too

The pictures with the shadows are cool, since you have so many of them do you display them somehow all together?

What a fun series of shots! Do you have them up in your home? Perhaps you could make them all black and white and use them as part of your table numbers.

I love the shadow pictures! You should definitely have them all displayed... and maybe as centerpieces too!

Ohhhhh, great idea! Hopefully we'll be able to visit 7 more beaches prior to the wedding . . . so we can have the Cabo Table, Montego Bay Table, Tahoe Table . . . Nevis, Bahamas, Mauritius, Seychelles, etc.

Actually, I don't want to wait that long, I think we should just elope.

I think when we get to a 4th shadow photo, I'll insist that Weston do something creative with them, as he is a digital artist and all.

Thanks for the kind words icekid, Blue824, Dani, and Matorata!

What great shots--thanks for sharing. You & Weston are an adorable couple & I love the shadowy shots on the beach!

Would you, by chance, mind posting more shots of Cheryl? I think her dress is one of my current top 5''s so I''d love to see a full length shot or 2.

Thank you!

As far as the dress, my Father is relatively new to digi cameras, and isn''t that good with the delay yet, so there really are no great pics of her dress.

Thanks for posting these additional pics, Lauren. Question about the dress--did she get the one w/o a train or with the sweep train? Did the fabric move well when she danced?

I''m hoping to try on this dress & ones like it soon--perhaps today!

Her dress had a fairly lengthy train, longer than a sweep train, but much shorter than a chapel train. She had a single bustle and it was quite pretty for the fairly informal evening wedding. The dress had little blue and clear crystals sewn under the bust as well. I''m not sure if that was added by someone else, or if it came like that, but it atched the colours of the wedding perfectly.

Good luck with tbe dress shopping!
