Jewelry pieces you fall for

I've noticed that my interest in jewelry has waned quite a bit; this may be because I've seen enough on the internet or that I'm quite happy with my collection.

So out of curiosity, how frequently do you have crushes on pieces of jewelry to the point of going back multiple times to the same piece?

Do you always consider purchasing/replicating it?

As you become happier with your collection, do you notice that this becomes rarer?

And, since a thread is never complete without some pictures, post your most recent crush.

I am content and satiated with my collection and yearn for nothing.
I still check out certain vendors websites but have no desire to purchase anything they have.
I never thought I would feel that way lol. But here I am. Completely content.

But shhh, don't tell my DH.
He might think I've gone cuckoo.



As requested posting my most recent crush which has been my oldest crush too pretty much lol.
At least I am consistent. And I hope it is OK that my most recent crush is mine.

Love this approach! I am doing a “wear what I have” period. And it’s making me very happy at the moment I still see many pretties, I can appreciate them and I do not have to have them if that makes sense I hope I’m expressing myself well, English is a second language

I don’t have any recent crushes but this was a ring I had favorited on Etsy for a long time. After finding it I would look at the listing from time to time and admire that beautiful sapphire. When my birthday came up this year I decided it was go time. It is definitely old, platinum and 18k with a gorgeous step-cut sapphire and two very sparkly old cut diamonds. I was a bit unsure about whether the sapphire would be beautiful in all lighting and to my delight it is always blue, of course most beautiful in daylight



My most recent purchase was more impulse as it was a live on IG sale but it has a very fitting word stamped on the inside. I am working on slowing down and appreciating what I have and this is a nice reminder.

I’m very content with what I have. I always wanted a tapered baguette mrb ring. I’ve had that but upgraded to a larger diamond with a new setting coming soon..I also wanted both a three stone and an emerald cut diamond ring. I got both of them in one ring..I actually prefer the emerald cut ring instead of being made with mrbs. I’m going to follow in @Daisys and Diamonds example with fixing what I have so I can wear them. I will also sell some of my rings I don’t wear. I’m going to be happy to pear down some of my things. I have nothing on my wish list..at the moment..lol

Sorry. I didn't answer your Q. Ive been in love with emeralds for over 10 years. This particular ring, I could never afford it and in any case, I wouldn't splash out $1/2 mil for it.

So I remain utterly and besottedly in love, lol.

My jeweler has these gorgeous 4ctw OEC (estimated OP colour and VS clarity) studs in his shop that I saw recently and I’m in love with the flowery facets!! No pics but I’ve been going back and forth on whether to take the plunge or just visit for the time being!
