So, after several months of wearing my ering I''m finally insuring it (tsk tsk on me!). I decided to go with Jeweler''s Mutual after extensive research and completed their online application/uploaded my appraisal about 2 days ago. I received emails verifying they received my information. Question, how long does it take to be approved for a policy?

They got back to me the next day, and were excellent about correspondence - I dealt with a lovely lady named Kay who was v professional.

As soon as they receive your payment you are covered. If they have any problems with your appraisal they will let you know, but I believe you are covered in the meantime.

I generally send an email about what I want coverage for in the morning, and they email or call back within the day. I pay by phone and I''m covered that day.
