Yes, I''m hanging my head in shame but I just bought two christmas fetuses. NO, I am not knocked up. But I find it to be hysterical and I want one for my tree. The other one I''ll keep and give as a gift to a co-worker who is pregnant and who has a great sense of humor.

ETA: i think i might now get one so that whenever i end up getting pregnant, i can give that to our parents as our own special way of announcing the pregnancy! haha!

Have you ever had a time when you desperately wished you had a camera? After seeing some of these "ornaments", wish I had pixs from the doozy I once saw…

Back in the 80''s, I started working in an office that had a large decrepit storage area in the basement. My first year, I was sent down there to haul out the office decorations. You should have seen some of the hideous crap in these boxes. By far, the UGLIEST ornament that emerged was (wait for it) one of Hitler - sitting by a fireplace?!

I have NO idea who the heck would manufacture something in such poor taste? What was their angle? "Have a Very Nazi Christmas!" or "HEIL CHRISTMAS!" ?!?

It never saw the light of day after I discovered it.

EricaR - congrats on your etsy purchases. I vote the "fetus" ornaments as the ugliest. (I must admit, that when I first saw them, I thought they were made out of marzipan - EWWWWWWWWWW! What a relief to learn, they are actually made of clay
