It does and it doesn't. It gets better with time, for me, it's approaching 3 years this Mother's day. Losing her on Mother's day was so fitting as she was a Mom to me. I think of her all the time, can still hear her voice, and do love imitating her. Her quips were so funny. If I have a problem I think what would Nanny say. That's a big comfort.

You must have so many fond memories of your grandmother, hold them close. She's only a whisper away. She'll be close to you forever. I truly believe that.

Oh goodness Lisa, you are just an angel! It''s so nice of you to share these things with me! Your Nanny to you was very much like my Grannie was to me. She taught me about everything in life that is important. I can''t wait until the memories are comforting. Right now they are just painful. I feel like such a brat. Haha...I told DH I was going to punch the next person that told me they were so relieved my grandma had passed. I know in my brain that she is no longer suffering. But, my heart knows I will not ever hear her voice again.

The tsavs were sort of a surprise. He dropped one too many hints so I figured it out. Also, they were supposed to be a Christmas surprise. He caved to my badgering and gave them to me after Thanksgiving thinking I''d set them for Christmas. Alas...I haven''t even been to the jeweler to talk about settings!

I think Food Network taught me how to cook! I''m adicted to that channel. I don''t watch much tv, but, when I do it is usually HGTV or Food Network. I read cookbooks the was some people read novels. I don''t miss a word. My dad has a knack for cooking and did a lot when my mom went back to work when I was a kid. He mostly grills, though. He grills everything. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

YES YES YES. We had prime rib on Christmas Day and I made a horseradish sauce. I have two recipes. One with sour cream and the other with whipped cream. Both are yummmmmy

DD doesn''t like mashed potatoes if you can believe it! I think she''ll grow out of it. Kids are so fickle with their likes and dislikes.

I love eating! When DH and I were on our first date (I was 15!

) we went to a Mexican restaurant where I proceeded to eat a massive combo plate of two enchiladas, rice, beans, and salad. He was floored. I''ve also been known to eat a 16 oz. steak!

Sometimes I like garlic in the mashers. I''ve been really into different cheeses in my mashers right now. The goat cheese and stone ground mustard ones were tasty good! A few nights ago I made some with garlic and parmasean cheese. The time before that was sour cream and chives. What about you? Do you like garlic in your potatoes?

If I have my rings on I cook with them on. If I''m making something really gunky like biscuits or pie dough I take them off. I try to be careful, but, this ring is so bulky that it knocks around all the time anyway. I''m not super paranoid. When I get my eventual Leon, though, I''ll be paranoid!

Yes, DD still has tea parties with him! Now he has a bottle he drinks. Maybe I shouldn''t admit that I feed my 24 year old (in people years) man cat a bottle. DD and I were at the pet store when she saw the kitten bottles and decided Leo neeeeeeeded one!
