Oh yes, Coati! I love to cook. Bake, though? Not as much. I recently attended a neighborhood cookie party. I brought candy. Cookies aren''t my thing to make. Mine are always so ugly! My oldest is an outstanding cookie baker so I delegate the duty to him!

Hmmmm...I crave different things all the time. I do think one of my favorite all time meals is fried chicken (heehee, see Harriet''s thread) with mashed potatoes, gravy, greens, fried corn, and biscuits. OK, well, that and filet mignon cooked to a maximum of medium - and no bacon - and very little seasoning...Maybe some herb butter. I like to taste the meat! I am a total meat and potatoes girl which is kind of a surprise to lots of people since I am not a very big gal! I can put it away! I forgot about risotto....Mmmmmmmmmm how I love it! I''m very picky about how it is made. I really like meatloaf...With lots of horseradish! And mashed potatoes! Did I mention mashed potatoes?

I had sushi for the first time a few weeks ago and I loved it. I''m a complete germophobe so the idea of raw fish took a lot of convincing. To my knowledge I have no parasite so I''ll eat it again for sure! I didn''t love eel. It was a bit too oily and strong. We had a crunchy roll that was delicious!

This isn''t really a dish, but, I adore frosting. Thanks to that evil cupcake thread I make cake more often than I should! By combining a few recipes I have a pretty tasty (and easy) buttercream recipe I use! The kids have a bit of a sprinkle addiction so we always have some far out there cuppies!

I love that pic, too, Skippy! We dress him up all the time. He was just on the bed with gloves on his paws! I don''t have any pics right now. My external drive is not hooked up to the computer. MIL was here (insert Jaws music). She has the nasty habit of snooping through the computer, desk drawers, mail, etc.

What I like to eat for breakfast and what I usually eat for breakfast are two different things. I like to eat sausage or bacon, fried eggs, potaoes, toast, oranges, coffee and ice water. I usually only have time to down a protein shake and tea. Or sometimes I eat granola. I''m not much of a morning person so if I must make breakfast, it likely won''t be a big one. DH is an outstanding breakfast cook! I miss having him working from home. He would cook breakfast almost every morning!

I have! I made a molten cake with Nutella frosting. That''s when the kids said it tasted like Vegemite! Something is wrong with them!

Ditto, one of my faves too. My DD lives for Nutella. Miranda, I love me some mashed potaoes. I also love meatloaf. But my meatloaf has to be topped with tomato sauce. I hear ya on the horseradish sauce, it''s a must with filet, etc... Who taught you how to cook?

YES YES YES. We had prime rib on Christmas Day and I made a horseradish sauce. I have two recipes. One with sour cream and the other with whipped cream. Both are yummmmmy

Something is wrong with those kiddles.

The pups are well. I''m looking forward to having them back on Wednesday.

I hope you feel better. There are so many nasty things going around now. Last week I was helping in my DD''s class and almost every one of those little Kindergarten buggers were sick!

It was/is really sweet of your DH. I love it when my DH plans something. He never manages to surprise me, but, I love that he tries! Even if it isn''t the project I had in mind, I know I''ll love it...So long as it isn''t ugly!

I''ll be back. I have to go eat dinner. DH has been a little obsessive about my lack of food comsumption!
