Potato chips, chocolate covered donut, orange soda! She is way taller that 3 ft. She''s almost as tall as the neighbor giving her bananas.Date: 8/15/2009 2:58:24 PM

no doubt she is obese, but I don''t believe that she is 3ft tall and 170lbs. In the picture there is no way that she is that heavy. Another thing that I find odd about this, and I am not sure that it is from my ignorance or if it is just strange, but there were potato chips and what may be soda. If this is in a place that her parents are not able to feed themselves or other children I seriously doubt that they are buying chips and soda for her to eat. Sensationalism?

Thritto to that. Prader-Willi is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the first pic. I saw a show on it and it is really sad. Parents having to deadbolt the fridge and pantry.
Children with these sorts of eatting disorders are murder to control re. food. I have 2 friends with boys who fit into this type of category and it is a full time job for the parents to stop the children wanting to eat 24/7. As long as the kids are awake they cry for food. It`s obvious that a parent cant make a child eat so much. I know my 3 skinny kids wont eat even if I try to force them. It is interesting to note that my 2 friends are dealing with other behavioural and learning dissabilities also with their sons, not just food problems.Date: 8/16/2009 12:40:10 PM

Thats so sad. And I do believe she is 170 lbs from the photo. My 5 year old daughter is 50 lbs and does not have any fat on her (she is very tall too). So I do believe that based on that photo, this girl weighs at least 3x what my daughter weighs.
Gland problem or not, its the parents that are to blame. A 5 year old can not buy the food or cook the food and someone is giving her the food.
Poor child is going to be set upf or a life of health problems.
When I see morbidly obese children I feel so sad for them. Not always but often I see they have at least one and often 2 obese parents. And that is sad as well.
