Here it is the middle of June, overcast and cold in southeastern PA. Rain is in the forecast again!. Last Saturday we went to an outdoor graduation party and the forecast was "chance of a passing shower" and it rained for over 6 hours. There were over 50 people packed in this tiny house. The teens were outside playing basketball and volleyball in the rain.

Is the sun ever going to come out?!

I live here in SE PA too, and I''m getting very sick of this nonsense weather. I''m a summertime person, and so far this has been a horrible summer weather wise. I think we moved to Seattle and didn''t realize it. Nothing against Seattle for all you Seattle people, but we''re used to sunny days in June here on the east coast.

Weather is pants as usual in the UK.

Yes, I''m so sick of all the rain in NY

"weather is pants"....I love it!! haha (I lived in the UK for several years..)

I''m in the NYC metro area, and it has been horrendous! We had a brutally frigid winter (which started in November), followed by 40 degree April and May. And June, rain rain everyday! Tomorrow''s forecast: heavy rain and mid 60''s. Forecast for week/wkend: rain and scattered showers. I mean we do get a beauty here and there, but it''s not enough to lift the spirits like a good spring/summer week usually does this time of year!

Where is global warming when you need it? (I kid..)

It is 75 today where we live, in Northern California and expected to warm up this weekend.

Like SDL said, it has been a cool June. We mostly get our hot weather in July, August, September and even into October, so we shall see.

Soocool, I''m in south-central PA, so I''m dealing with the same nasty weather that you are. Where did summer go?!?!

SDL and Linda, SHUT UP!!!!!

I live in Atlanta and it''s 85-90 daily with afternoon thunderstorms several days a week, which is typical.

I flew up to DC this morning for work and didn''t check the forecast. It''s 68 and rainy!!!! I was not expecting this at all. I was really hoping for nice weather, slightly cooler, but not this cool.

Another one from PA, yes the weather stinks!! Too much rain for me!! And Casper does not care for the thunder storms, he shakes like a jack hammer, medicine or not. I want to see some sun!!!

HI:

June is always our wettest month, bleech. We''ve been enjoying low to mid 20''s (C) for temps. Thundrstorms common--yesterday the rain + hail was so bad, it caused local flooding and the ground was completely white! I couldn''t see two feet in front of my car while driving! Whatever!!

cheers--Sharon

Here''s praying my weather doesn''t become pants, bc I have to pick up a love seat

Having an overcast, drizzly, rainy day here in MI. I can''t recall a cooler June in a while. Usually, it''s blazing hot and/or muggy right around the end of school. Not the case this year - we''ve had mostly 70s weather.

Please come! Rain is good, and your rain will be more like sweet rain of honey.

This has been the best June I''ve had since I''ve moved to SoCal. But there are 4 months left of hot months.
I''m finding it ironic that I vetoed my favorite wedding location. Wedding was supposed to be next weekend, and I declined it because the venue doesn''t have air conditioning. It''s supposed to get warmer starting tomorrow, so I''ll see if I made the right choice, or if I should have believed in fate.

YES..the weather is SUCKY here in N. CA. Sometimes I feel like we are in Oregon...except with inflated housing prices, not as many cute Craftsmans, and a longer commute.

It's June and 2 weeks ago we had rain during a BBQ. Last weekend it rained part of Saturday. WTF. We never used to get rain after May and years before not after APRIL. The days have been around a pathetic 70 degrees with a weak sun.

Might as well move to a place where it actually is like this all the time but housing is 1/2 price. In a positive light, today we are supposed to get like 83. Woop.

Oh and S. CA? Not much better. I was in Santa Monica last week and YES it RAINED there too. And it was pathetically overcast and cloudy.

I was just remembering last year at this time it was around 100 degrees in SE PA. Some schools were closed because they have no air conditioning.

Today I got a call saying that the high school graduation ceremonies might be postponed until Friday because of the weather.

So last summer was very hot, snowed in late October(that was freaky!) winter very cold and wet (snow/sleet/ ice/rain), spring/summer so far cold and rainy.... does that mean mild winter this year????

We had a hot May in Arizona, and now a cooler June (highs around 95 the last 2 weeks). It''s been nice, it''s normally too hot to go for a walk or do anything outside June-August.

Yes. But I''m in Ireland, so nothing out of the ordinary there!

Soocool, where are you at? I''m in south Jersey and the weather is horrible. Rainy, cold, dreary. Feels more like fall

I want my hot and humid weather.

NW Iowa is humid as all get out today, and forecasting T-storms. We had no Spring storms whatsoever, and it''s been relatively mild..kinda weird.

OK it''s raining cats and dogs here, so send us PA peeps some sun please!!!

I''m so sick of the constant rain. I live in NYC not SEATTLE
39.gif

I want my SPRING that was robbed from me...It feels like October at times...I want the sun to come out.

I''m in SEPA also - and very tired of it!! bring on the sun

Today it got up to the low 70''s as it did yesterday. It was kinda sunny. It has been cold and drizzly for many days prior. I did have to close the windows last night because it was too cold. It is supposed to be rainy and cool [again] for the next 10 days.

I am in southern NH outside of Boston.

Yeah, global warming. I know . . .

Here in Louisiana, it hasn''t rained in over two weeks -- very strange for here. It is rather warm for June, though. We hit 97 today, and it''s only going to get hotter through the weekend. Unfortunately, we also have this little thing called humidity to factor in, so it''s actually quite sweltering here! Ugh!
