So this is the story. I am dating the most, amazing, supportive, and attractive man ever. We have been talking about getting married and have email each other about 60 pics of engagement rings. Me being a typical girl, I want to know, when, when, when this great event is going to take place. He told me with in the next 6 months....

In your opinion ladies, should I just drop it or keep pushing the issue? Is it better to have a surprise or is it better to be prepared(nails done, hair done

Well, now that you''ve shared 60 photos, I reckon he should have an INKLING of what you like. Therefore...

Drop it. Let the guy have some fun too...it will make it more fun for you in the end.

I should amend that a bit. Lots of us gals are very anal about our rings. If you are one of those girls, you may want to think about being involved in the process (but leave the proposal whens wheres hows up to him). If your only reason for wanting to know is to have your hair, nails, etc done, then definitely let him do his thing.

Girl it's coming in the next 6 months, so if I were you i'd just drop it and have fun in the last days you are a LIW.

You can still have your nails done regularly to be ready for those hand shots when the ring comes!

I agree with roseangel. drop it and enjoy the remaining time as a LIW. Get your nails done and even if he doesn''t propose, your hands will look great!!

He already gave you a 6 month timeline?

Lucky. *jealous*

We''re getting together the documentation for my fiancee visa application, and I haven''t even gotten a timeline for a proposal yet!

I am really lucky. I have a great guy who has given me a suitable time frame for our engagement. I just need to chill.

Sometimes a dose or reality in needed. Thanks ladies.

Keep it tuned in for details.....

Hi there.

I was so excited to have a *timeline* with my boy, because I thought I''d like an idea of when things would fall into place as far as planning and all that goes. And I want to be able to move closer to him, and all that sort of thing. Anyway, the timeline thing is a little hard at times, too. It''s rough. I keep *thinking* it''s coming, and yeah, it can be disappointing and exciting, and frustrating. For me and him.

Just try to keep your focus. I take bouts up and down on the sanity line, but I try to remember to do other activities, too. It helps. *scrapbooking is loads of fun for me, and it also reminds me of what joy I have in sharing life with my wonderful boy.*

Good luck on your upcoming engagement!

I also to "Drop it" however, it''s easier said than done.

If I were in your shoes, which I have been, I would take him ring shopping and show him exactly what I wanted.
