Is everyone off work for Christmas vacation?

It seems that the board is very active today. Sometimes it will go hours and hours without a new thread and today as soon as I am done posting in one there are two new ones.

So are we on vacation or playing hookey today?

My excuse is that I am at work and honestly have nothing better to do because it is almost the holiday and no one is doing anything. I am on the computer 5 days out of the week for most of the day checking in and there is a ton more activity today.

The board is super busy today!

My two excuses for spending all day on PS include:

1) Tomorrows my husband''s last day at his job and will be home for two weeks and I''ll have to be productive around the house.
2) Friday''s my kids begin christmas break and have to keep an eye on them rather than play on PS.

This is a very slow time of year for me at the office, which is why I'm on more lately. I went through a span of a solid 3 months where I wasn't on much at all. I feel like I'm making up for it now

And no time off for me around the holidays other than 1/2 of Xmas eve and Xmas day and the same for NY eve and day. DH get's the entire week off between Xmas and NY.

I''m "working" until the end of this week and then off for the rest of the year. We have a use it or lose it policy for vacation so I always end up taking 2 weeks of December off. Things are pretty slow right now, but will pick up right after New Year''s because we have a new software release coming out (and I have to figure out how to do the work for that while having a baby!).

This Friday is my last day of work until January 4! Needless to say, it''s been a little hard for me to stay focused this week!

I am off for 10 days and have both Christmas and New Years's off.

1st time in 3 years

I am going back home to Northern California and will hopefully be spending NYE in SF.

I''m off for winter break, Tuesday was my last day of class.

It''s one of the benefits of teaching college. We get a very long winter vacation.

My kids in my new school get out on Friday but next Monday and Tuesday are teacher work days, so the staff has to go in. I''m looking forward to it actually because I''m hoping to get a lot done before leaving for the holidays. We''re off until Jan. 4th.
