Tornadoes in the OKC area tonight

I hate Oklahoma weather!

Oh, I know that feeling.

During a hurricane once I sat in our laundry room with a motorcycle helmet on! No kidding.
We had 5 trees fall on on our house and it was scary as ----!!

Seriously, I hope you are ok, I can imagine how scary it was. We were supposed to be in the middle of all this storm stuff, but it ended up not being that bad in our area. (unless something happened that I haven''t heard about)

I''ve been through a couple of hurricanes (Andrew when I was a kid...talk about scary!) so I know how you feel. Keep us updated.

All is well! We have a couple of tree branches in the yard and my neighbors trash can blew all over it as well, but if that''s the worst thing that happened I can''t complain.

You''d think after all of these years in Texas/Oklahoma I''d be used to it... But nope! Always scary!

I''m glad everything''s ok - I saw all the damage on the news this morning.

Those storms are the #1 reason I could never live in that area.

I get so freaked when weather gets bad around here, and I''m on the East coast! I like a good thunderstorm, but the winds and tornadoes are what freak me out.

Yikes- that must be scary! Glad you are ok, OU. Though I have to admit, there is a big part of me that is fascinated by crazy storms

Well, I have plenty of friends who love them and think it''s fun. I for one am not one standing on the porch watching the sky turn green, but some people love it. Thankfully these storms weren''t as bad as they thought they were going to be!

no fun. I''ve never witnessed any type of major storm, tornado, or hurricane (I''m in san francisco so we just get earthquakes), but I can imagine it being scary...Hang in there.

Hehe we have another round of storms coming tonight!

Luckily my house has a really good closet for tornadoes... In a hallway and very low to the ground. I''m just glad I don''t live in a 3rd floor apartment!

Don''t you just hate it when the weather guys pump us up - expecting the worst?
I know it''s best to prepare for the worst and weather is unpreditable, but Grrrr!

It''s hilarious here in Houston when we get even the slightest threat of ice. The whole
town freaks out and shuts down. Luckily, that only happens maybe once a year.
