If you were given $1000 to spend right now, what would you buy?

Condition: it can''t be a necessity--this purchase has to be relatively unnecessary and frivolous

. No saving it for later, either! You have to spend your cash in the next 10 days or it disappears.

I''d buy a nice (but small) flat screen for my bedroom.

new living room furniture

Does my honeymoon count? I''d like to book that sooner than later.

If not... a new plasma or lcd tv for the bedroom. I hate only having one TV!

New dishes and also some house decorating items, including a good closet organizing set up. Are those items frivilous enough?

If not, like Ellen, I'd also get a TV (LCD) for my bedroom. I had one in there, but my main TV broke, so we had to move my TV downstairs.

I''d buy plane tickets to Ireland.

Postpartum clothes and shoes!

yeah,i'm thinking about a 37" Samsung for my bedroom at that price range.

I''d splurge on a TV as well or a macbook...

The big, beautiful bookcase with glass sliding doors I have been drooling over for a year.

Furniture for our new place!

either a DBTY necklace from WF or a duo front loaded washer/dryer (even though we don''t need one, we have a perfectly newer set that''s doing the job)

Oooh, I think we''d probably put it towards a new computer or a new couch. This one feels like it''s made of bricks!

I''d book a cruise to take with BF.

The best red spinel I can get for the money, then blow the rest on books.

Tons of stuff! House stuff, maybe a purse.

hmmm...
i might buy a couple pairs of awesome jeans and some awesome shoes.

or a chloe bag....though $1000 probably wouldn''t cut it for that!

or maybe i''d buy 10 massages. ooh, or go to a crazy expensive hair salon and have the top stylist do me up.

new computer &/or new exhaust pipes for the motorcycle

Flat Screen TV

or

DBTY Necklace

If it has to be frivolous, probably a bag or two

I have my eye on one in particular, but haven''t at all felt like dropping the money on it.

New tires or some small yellow diamond studs.

I'd buy DH a $500-ish grill (ours broke this season) & put my $500 towards my earring project so my birthday gift slot in September is still open for new ideas

. (Really a delay tactic so I have more time to decide ... lol).

One bottle of nice wine.

I have always been curious about fine wine.

Oh, but wait . . . wine IS a necessity.

A gem I have my eye on, and tickets to Vegas for my birthday!

vacation!

I''d buy a pair of shoes and some clothes or I would love to go to Barcelona again so I might spend it on that.

2 wedding bands, one plain and one pave to match my e-ring!

While it would hurt to not be able to save it, I would probably use it to expand my wedding band budget, or book a vacation for my FI and I.

when i read the title I was like darn I would have to either get a new computer (mine broke so its a necessity) or my IRA...then I opened it. Hands down the Chanel Large Shopper- it would require me kicking in a little more, but oh so worth it,
